ABOUT DIA DE LOS MUERTOS

Día de los Muertos, also known as the day of the dead, is an ancient Mexican tradition which predates colonial times. the holiday always falls on the 1st and the 2nd of november. it's customary that on these days every household builds an altar for their loved ones who had passed away. offerings of incense, candles, flowers, but also of things that the deceased might have loved – food, tobacco, liquor or precious personal objects – are made. the atmosphere is that of festive remembrance.´
