Now there is GARAGE ART in Berlin:::
FREE STUDIO SPACE
From August 8 to 30, 2012 Natulis Art Temporary offers nine free studios for artists in Berlin’s Scharnhorststraße 32. Located in close vicinity of Hamburger Bahnhof and right behind Invalidenpark. Natulis provides free temporary studio space to ambitious and energetic artists seeking a community of like-minded people in a unique and experimental environment.
Sizes range from 44 to 55 m2 of raw studio space (old GDR-style garages). The successful applicant will be able to use the studio space free of charge, but „as is“. There are no fees for utilities and the garages can be returned in any state imaginable.
Ephemeral, time sensitive art at tremendous growth rates will be favored. The buildings will go afterwards- so be creative.
At the end of August we will host a weekend of open studios and invite the general public as well as an arts audience of curators and critics.
The Natulis Group pledges a € 1000 prize for the best studio presentation during this weekend.
N.N., Thomas Eller, James Guerin, Jan Kage, Anna Jill Lüpertz
On August 30 Yaneq will issue invites to a major celebratory event with fun and food, bands and beers, DJs and performances.
Please send your application (PDF with CV, portfolio of 7 artworks max and a proposal for the space) to:
