BERLIN · the HomeBase project is a site-specific urban art project exploring the notion of home. founded in 2006 in NYC, HomeBase is a not-for-profit, artist-run, nomadic movement which has inhabited and explored five different raw, urban sites around NYC and in Berlin, with the next HomeBase site set for Jerusalem in the summer of 2012.

HomeBase is in the process of transforming a former brewery in Pankow, Berlin, into the HomeBase LAB - a year-round art and research center dedicated to the investigation of home as the foundation of humanity and to experimentation in meaningful, urban living. HomeBase will invite the Berlin community into the LAB with an open house event scheduled for the 1st and 2nd of october 2011. as a sneak peek into the HomeBase universe we will be hosting the free public event HB SALON on September 13, 2011, Thulestrasse 54, Pankow.
