BERLIN · the program for thursday's ICAS Suite brings together two of the driving forces behind contemporary music in Poland and Berlin.

run by Mat Schulz and Gosia Plysa, Unsound Festival is a champion of evolving and mutating forms of music, as well as related visual arts. celebrating its tenth edition this year, it takes place from october 14th to october 21st in Kraków, Poland.

Michail Stangl #5993 is a Russian-born curator and DJ, who has become an essential part of Berlin's underground landscape over the past few years. focussing on both newer forms of electronic dance music and experimental sounds, he has been curating a wide range of events across the city, including his resident nights Leisure System and ≠ (not equal) at Berghain. he is also the Co-Curator of the music program at this year's CTM Festival and runs the seminal Boiler Room broadcasts from Berlin.

the collaboration between Stangl and Unsound at Festsaal Kreuzberg will present a cross-section of recent developments in club music.
