BERLIN · 'invisible drawings: grey area' is a series of collaborative experiments between gestural mark-making and dance improvisation. during their residency at l’atelier-kunst(spiel)raum, visual artist Christine Cheung and dancer/performer Natalie Adams together with dance collaborators explore the relationship of body, gesture and visual production.

using the whole space of the gallery, they will develop a partly choreographed and improvised performance that aims to investigate the notions of visibility & invisibility through specific patterns of movement and repetition. the sunday workshop led by Natalie Adams and Christine Cheung, will explore with the participants the combination of dance and movement with drawing and painting. this will involve mark-making, bodily gesture, and improvisation through a variety of tools and materials.
