BERLIN · Born from the wake of the England riots in the summer of 2011, N4YP (Network for Young People) strives to become a focal point for motivation and progress.
The goal is fairly simple: provide support, knowledge, means, opportunity and empowerment to young people working to break into the media arts industries. Whether your interest lies in digital media, visual media, journalism, animation or any number of other things, N4YP will aim to provide you with resources to get you going.
Only one launch party, only one night to say your prayers before the doors close and your on the other side looking in. Open church space equipped with a 5KW stereo system, room for 250 people and cinema size screen for visual displays. Underground venue open from dusk till dawn with bar. No dress code, come as you feel. Month long animated fest showing midnight screenings.
The event is being held in East Berlin, the centre of collectives and the famous East Side Gallery. It's for a non profit organization that funds young creatives and helps them produce their own ideas. Screening independents and feature filmmakers shorts including animators from Adult Swim channel, Anthony F, Dax Norman and lilfuchs, who worked with Flying Lotus, KawAnimation and not forgetting the pioneers of the art form!

Young people can apply for a N4YP Generation Grant, which provides them with money raised from their events, the grant also gives the young person the opportunity to visit Europe and show what they have managed to achieve with the money.
The ability to think and exercise your thoughts is a duty to be fulfilled not only for yourself but for those who came before you. They have faced the same childhood angst, teenage confusion and adult alienation, except we have a lot more where they had none.
Their goal is to celebrate the rise of talented young people, despite the inadequacy of their environments. To inspire and be inspired by those who are driven by their determination. To extend a hand and create opportunities.
