BERLIN · the historic tempelhof airfield will be turned into a musical canvas in may 2013, as san francisco composer Lisa Bielawa unveils the latest chapter in her ‘airfield broadcasts’ project.

‘airfield broadcasts’ are massive, spatialized symphonies involving hundreds of professional and amateur musicians, performed in large, meaningful public spaces.
