LABS TO PUBLIC is a series of trans-disciplinary events uniting leaders of academia, business, culture, public policy, entrepreneur and innovation sectors to address subject matter from different, fresh directions while fostering sharing new knowledge via outside-the-box thinking.

On May 27th, LABS TO PUBLIC’s two day international gathering kicks-off at PLATOON KUNSTHALLE with “THINK! Urban Matters” – a future workshop exploring innovation laboratories. The interactive design thinking dialogue is by invite only and will bring together 100 practitioners from science, entrepreneurship, civil society and public sector to prototype visions for future innovation laboratories, such as startup accelerator, co-working space, research and education space and new technologies.

On May 28th, LABS TO PUBLIC invites event partners to host workshops at Factory Berlin for an “CREATE! Innovation Forum” – a platform for sharing and collaborating on experiences in facilitating innovation in research, technology ventures and urban development.

LABS TO PUBLIC during Asia-Pacific Week is the second workshop about Innovation Labs of the EU TriNet Global project. A successful kick-off workshop in December 2014 was held as part of the Connective Cities platform. Events underline the continuous importance of non-formal innovation spaces in Berlin and global contexts.
