MILAN · public design festival and esterni are pleased to invite you to meet observatorium, the dutch artist group of Waiting for the river project from 2010, a 125-foot-long inhabitable bridge, complete with dormitories, outdoor eating areas, and a bathroom, the project was constructed in anticipation of the newly cleaned and renaturalized Emscher River, whose waters will soon flow through the surrounding landscape... it sounds amazing as it really looks just like that.
