MONTREAL · Artists Nicolas Bernier and Martin Messier and the Collective Artificiel will be showing several projects and works this fall in Europe, invited by contemporary music and new media festivals, and also by art gallery and museum.

Sewing Machine Orchestra and La Chambre des Machines in Italy, France and Scandinavia

Created with old Singer sewing machines and shown with great success in 2011 at Sonar, Today's Art and Elektra,
the performance Sewing Machine Orchestra of Martin Messier could be seen/experienced :

- October 8 : Festival Electroni-k, Rennes (France)
- October 24 : Festival Meta-Morf, Trondheim (Norway)
- October 26 : Festival Ekko, Bergen (Norvway)
- October 28 : Inkonst, Malmö (Sweden)

Nominated in 2011 at Ars Electronica and Japan Media Art Festival, La Chambre des machines by Nicolas Bernier
and Martin Messier will also be hosted at Festival Transart in Bolzano September 28.

Frequencies (a), Nicolas Bernier's amazing new sound and visual performance for tune forks, synthetic sounds and light table,
will premiere in Europe :
- October 25 and 26 : Festival Lab 30, Augsburg (Germany)
- October 28 : Festival Oddstream, Nijmegen (The Netherlands)

at Champs Libres museum in Rennes (France)

Sewing Machine Orchestra of Martin Messier, created for the LOW TECH exposition organized by Exit and Via 2012 festivals,
will be opening the new facilities of the LydGalleriet in Bergen (Norway) October 5 to November 4.
