After that, he worked for 10 years as graphic artist for magazins, publishing houses and cultural centers. After another 10 years, which he served as art director in the advertisment industry, he opened his own atelier in 2009 in Berlin.

In 2013, Raban's monography with the title "Rapport" is published by PILCROW Print & Publishing: 280 pages of works from the 1980s until today, presenting logos, posters, campaigns and magazin designs. The book was designed by the award-winning art director Alexander Egger, who has not just created a book, but a design masterpiece of its own."Rapport" - this word has many different meanings, like pattern or report. However, as a title, it mostly refers to the French word for "relationship". And that's the central theme of all the works by Raban Ruddigkeit: the manyfold relations to his colleagues, clients and the audience. Communication is never made for media, but for the people.
