the borderline moving images festival presents a set of videoscreenings, intstallations, artist talks, workshops and concerts at diverse locations of beijing.

opening on june 23, 7:30 pm
@ beijing creative art center soho shangdu, no. 8 dongdaqiao road, chaoyang district.

the festival is opened by a screening of "just like the movies" by michal kosakowski with piano accompaniment of paolo marzocchi, followed by a video/music-performance of 8GG interactive studio.

main organizers: platform china, bao atelier bejing (by the way: also at the pecha kucha night beijing) and theatre in motion.

tip for my part: “we cannot stop, to stop is to fail” - it's a unique installation, connecting from one work to the next, while maintaining the independence of each single work. beside the works of 13 young chinese and also international video-artists. it offers an analysis and tells a story about the current state of chinese society, especially the of the youth - june 24, 7:30 pm

look at the festival’s program on the website and guide yourself through the evening from one place to another ...
