in the streets of hongdae we bounced accidentally into a little art exhibtion called hue-man in the location "space hole and corner". artists gugjin park, jiyeong yun and seungtae hong showed their amazing sculptures: "mutant" humans or humans in unusual situations made of silicon.
the sculptures clearly remind of ron mueck, an australian sculptor who is known for his silicon human sculptures. just as him the hue-man artists made their sculptures highly detailed and scarily realisitc from all angles. whereas mueck's sculptures strike through their non-realistic hyperdimensional sizes, the hue-man artists also break taboos showing naked women with tails or four breasts, babies in capsules or a little girl with blood on her nightdress.
i got goosebumbs and i really liked it.

each face has its own expression...

a life-sized man taped on the wall.

the size of the tail woman was only about one meter..

the expression of this huge crying baby was incredibly realistic..

honney's facial expression is incredible as well. in contrast to her the baby looks peaceful and quiet.
