BERLIN · this friday the 13th, 2 thing shall be celebrated: firstly, U37 - Raum für Kunst, a new art space on kurfürstenstraße is opening. secondly, the space is opening with the berlin debut solo exhibition of steff loewenbaum.

U37 - Raum für Kunst, is a project by art connoisseur Anna Jill Lüpertz and artist Peter Stauss. right around the corner from the capitalism mekka of berlin – just as you pass the rows of affordable women, 3 orange steps descend into a souterrain space.

INNER EVERSION will be Loewenbaum's first solo show in the capital. in this exhibition he explores the depth of self-evoked daemons. based on the citation of Goethe: “herr die not ist groß! die ich rief, die geister werd ich nun nicht los” (“lord and master, hear my call! I have need of thee! from the spirits that I called, sir deliver me!”), the exhibition shreds into issues of the human state: lack of self-reflection paired with an abundance of self-importance and ego that gives birth to evil. the manifestation of this you will find in Loewenbaums underground realm.

see you there!
