SEOUL · 16 & 17 JUL: nk bomb is a tattoo convention with korean and japanese tattoo artists. after the successful start in 2009 with tattooing, live performances by korean and japanese independent bands, custom bike and urban culture exhibitions, the second ink bomb takes place on the 16th and 17th of july at PLATOON KUNSTHALLE.
the main purpose of this tattoo convention is to change the public mindsets about tattoo, which is dominated by a rough and dark image. visitors will have the chance to experience the artistic side first hand and will recognize the art of tattooing and its cultural value. furthermore, the convention will help the scene developing new techniques and support the research by bringing together national and international artists for exchange and communication.
the most interesting thing about this year’s event is the possibility to watch noted artists during their work. this new kind of performance and concerts of underground bands will make the event even more special and unique.
