it is a tradition that has survived centuries, bidding farewell to summer in the most debaucherous way you can think of. we didn't have a fire to jump over, we didn't hold hands and chanted away, we didn't sacrifice a lamb ... we danced!
originally we intended to empty the bar.. not out of alcohol-infused madness but strictly dictated by logic! come on, the icy grip of winter is upon us - no beer bottle is going to survive a -18° berlin winter, so in a way, it was simply driven by mercy!
well, it didn't quite work! what did work however, was a brilliant night of derwishing and audio/visual delights, great guests, great performers and with a great bar man (thanks klonk!!!!)
it goes without saying that we curtsy to all the DJs and VJs who participated (check out the line-up below) and to everyone who came.
