we took part in the event “creative spaces – new forms of communes?”. the event was aimed, as nicely put in their own words: "to everybody who dreams or creates physical spaces for exchange, inspiration, living and/or working together. more and more spaces for real-time networking, exchange and meaningful value creation emerge and show that our generation will not become the hostage of the overwhelming technological progress".

many interesting berlin based creatives showed up to present their projects in a cosy round of 22 people, every participant presented their vision or already existing space with the help of 3 small physical objects in 3 minutes. it was quite fun. however this was just a kick-off for a bigger gathering to this topic in November. keep updated on the until we see new land space!

it was quite nice to find there other PLATOON.MEMBERS, such as Luis Berios-Negron # 3151, and Jonathan Imme #3493 - co-founder ofPalomar5and was actually the one who invited us to the event. we really appreciate that, thanks a lot!

however you should definitely go to visit Betahaus... and if you are too far keep following them on their FB page.

this evening there is another talk about: Why every creative city needs a FabLab?- if you want to know more about FabLab see the MIT site or check out FabLab Berlin, a project in progress by Marco Riedel from RoomDivision!

whatever you do... make sure to visit us at the LAST DONNERSTAGSBAR of the season afterwards!.. we'll see you there or here or at both!
